MP News: One person was killed and ten others were injured after a tin shed collapsed at Bageshwar Dham in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur district. The devotees had reportedly gathered to celebrate the birthday of the religious preacher Dhirendra Shastri. The incident unfolded while they were participating in a ceremony in the early hours of Thursday; however, a strong wind led to the tragedy. The collapse of the tin shed led to panic among the devotees, leading to a stampede-like situation. The officials stated that the injured have been admitted to a local hospital where they are being treated.

The deceased has been identified as Shyam Lal Kaushal, a 50-year-old resident of Ayodhya. Kaushal, along with his family members, had arrived in Chhatarpur to celebrate the preacher's birthday. District Hospital Dr Naresh Tripathi stated that the devotee was brought in critical condition, adding that he died after the tin shed collapsed on him.
