Madhya Pradesh News: A man in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district allegedly died by suicide along with his two teenage children and elderly mother after a dispute with his wife, who had gone to her parents' home. The incident took place in Tehar village under Khurai police station limits on Friday night.
According to the police, the man, identified as Manohar Lodhi, was upset after his wife left home following an argument. The couple had another heated conversation over the phone, after which Manohar reportedly consumed poison along with his 70-year-old mother Phulrani, 18-year-old daughter Shivani and 16-year-old son Ankit.

The family lived in a house on their farmland, around 12 kilometres from Sagar town. The police said that Phulrani and Ankit died on the spot. Shivani and Manohar were taken to hospital in critical condition. Shivani died during treatment, while Manohar died while being taken to a higher facility.
A suicide note was found in the house. Police believe it was written by either Shivani or Ankit. It mentioned that their mother should not be given any share in the property. The note also included names of people who owed money or needed to be paid.
Manohar’s brother, Nandram Singh Lodhi, told the police that he heard vomiting sounds from the ground floor around 3 AM. He rushed to check and found family members in distress. He then alerted neighbours and called an ambulance. However, by the time help arrived, Phulrani and Ankit had already died.
