Artificial intelligence once again fooled the masses; a man posted a picture of the forest with an image of a tiger. The picture soon went viral, creating a nuisance around the area.
Following the nuisance, senior station engineer Suresh Chandra Meena informed the officials about the wild animal. Responding to the alert, the forest officials initiated a search operation in the woods. After searching for about 36 hours, the forest officers could not find the tiger.
Finding it suspicious, District Forest Officer Mukesh Patel directed the officials to search for the user who posted the picture.
When the officials found the person, he revealed a shocking yet funny truth. The individual claimed that he created the image with the help of Google AI. The man from Kashinagar, Uttar Pradesh, works as a contractor in the railways.
The person alleged that he uploaded the picture to scare his friend, and then it went viral.
The forest officials have warned him to not repeat such an act. They also mentioned that such acts shall not be spared in the future.
Separate Incident
A similar incident was reported in Telangana's Medak in 2025, wherein AI-generated images showing a tiger in Medak sparked panic among villagers, even as forest officials confirmed the photos were fake. The Forest Department launched awareness campaigns and warned of action against those spreading false information to prevent further fear and confusion.

The photos went viral on social media, prompting panic among villagers. Large groups of people gathered at the spot and began searching for the animal on Monday evening. The scare left farmers and cattle herders afraid to leave their homes. The incident came just 15 days after a real leopard was sighted near Datharpally by a local named Swamy and was later seen several times by other villagers.
