Madhya Pradesh: A disturbing video has gone viral, capturing the daughters of a man from Morena, Madhya Pradesh, physically assaulting him while his wife restrains him. This video surfaced a few days before the victim was found dead, hanging in his residence.
The deceased has been identified as Harendra Maurya. His body has been sent for an autopsy, and the police examination will determine whether he died by suicide or was murdered.

Shocking video footage has been circulating widely on social media, showing Harendra’s wife holding his legs while his daughters thrash him with a stick. He is also seen screaming in pain. At one point, his young son attempts to intervene, but his sister threatens to beat him up as well. Despite Harendra’s repeated attempts to free himself, his wife continues to hold him down, allowing the assault to continue. The video, dated February 1, has sparked widespread outrage and calls for justice on social media.
Meanwhile, Harendra, an electrician, had three daughters and a son. According to his neighbours and relatives, he frequently quarrelled with his wife. On March 1, he hosted the wedding of his two daughters, as cited in a News18 report.
Following the wedding ceremony, his wife expressed her desire to separate and return to her paternal home. Distraught by this, Harendra isolated himself in a room. When he failed to come out, his family began searching for him and eventually discovered him hanging. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
