MP Weather: Madhya Pradesh is bracing for another spell of heavy rain, as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for several districts between 12th and 15th September. Bhopal, in particular, has seen rapidly changing weather conditions. After a bout of heavy rainfall on Wednesday, the city has been grappling with sweltering humidity.
Madhya Pradesh Weather Update: Check IMD Forecast
As per the latest forecast, as many as 33 districts in the state could see rainfall during this period. These includes:
- Bhopal, Vidisha, Sehore, Rajgarh, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Indore, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur, Agar, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopurkalan, Tikamgarh, and Niwari.
- Raisen, Narmadapuram, Harda, Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Mauganj, Satna, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Katni, Jabalpur, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Maihar, Betul, Dindori, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, and Pandhurna.
These areas are expected to experience light to moderate rain, with some places likely to witness heavy downpours.

Yellow Alert Issued For Multiple Districts
In light of the forecast, the IMD has issued a Yellow Alert indicating the possibility of heavy rain and related disruptions for many districts. These include major urban centers and surrounding areas such as:
Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Ratlam, Vidisha, Raisen, Rajgarh, Sehore, Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Dewas, Shajapur, Agar, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopurkalan, Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Mauganj, Satna, Shahdol, Umaria, Katni, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Maihar, and Pandhurna.
Residents in these areas are advised to stay updated with local weather advisories and take necessary precautions, especially in flood-prone or low-lying zones.
