A massive fire broke out on Sunday at the Navrang Compound near Mahim Fatak, located off the Dharavi Sion-Mahim Link Road in Mumbai. The intensity of the blaze was such that the flames were visible from a considerable distance.
Officials reported that fire engines from Dadar, BKC, Bandra, and Shivaji Park fire stations were immediately dispatched to the scene to bring the fire under control. The cause of the fire and the full extent of the damage have not yet been ascertained.
The location of the fire is in close proximity to the railway tracks. As firefighting operations continue, traffic movement on the 60-Feet Road has been disrupted.

The flames spreading near the tracks have also impacted Western Railway services. A spokesperson for Western Railway stated that five trains have been regulated and are currently held between Mahim and Bandra stations. No injuries have been reported so far.
