Mumbai-Pune Expressway: The Missing Link Project on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway is nearing completion, paving way for faster travel between Mumbai and Pune. Built by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), the 3.3-kilometre, eight-lane road will cut travel time by 30 minutes.

Missing Link Project: How Stretch Will Reduce Travel Time

The new road will bypass the congested Lonavala-Khandala ghat section, providing a safer and more efficient route for travellers. By avoiding this section, the road will reduce the distance by approximately six kilometres, allowing vehicles to travel at speeds of up to 120 km/h. This improvement is expected to significantly enhance the overall travel experience and reduce travel time.
