Baba Siddique Murder:  Zeeshan Siddique has called for justice for his father, NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was killed in Mumbai last week. Baba Siddique's death shouldn't be politicised, the Congress MLA stated in a heartfelt plea on social media site X. Justice is necessary for him and his family, Zeeshan Siddique stated.

"My father lost his life protecting and saving the lives and homes of poor innocent people. Today, my family is broken but his death must not be politicised and definitely not go in vain. I NEED JUSTICE, MY FAMILY NEEDS JUSTICE!" he wrote on X.

Three attackers shot and killed Baba Siddique outside his Mumbai office on October 12.

Of the three shooters, two have been taken into custody. Shiv Kumar Gautam, the third, is evading capture.

Two more persons who were reportedly involved in the conspiracy have been taken into custody by the police.

On Thursday, the Mumbai police issued a lookout circular (LOC) for Shubham Lonkar. He reportedly wrote a social media post saying Lawrence Bishnoi's group was responsible for the shocking murder.

According to the social media post, Baba Siddique was murdered because he was close to actor Salman Khan.

"We have issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against Shubham Lonkar, an absconding accused in the case. Police are continuously searching for the accused in NCP leader Baba Siddique's murder case," the police said.

According to the police, the two accused shooters, Gurmail Singh and Dharamraj Kashyap, learned how to shoot by viewing YouTube videos.
