Mysuru Rave Party: Mysuru police conducted a raid on a late-night rave party at a private farm in the early hours of Sunday, arresting a total of 64 individuals. The operation took place at a farm in Meenakshipura, located near the KRS backwaters on the outskirts of Mysuru, under the jurisdiction of the Ilwala police station.

According to The Hindu report, the raid was initiated following a tip-off. Upon the police's arrival, several partygoers attempted to flee the scene. A video that emerged later showed some of the arrested individuals trying to conceal their faces while in police custody.

Despite the scale of the operation, Superintendent of Mysuru district police, N. Vishnuvardhan, reported that no narcotic substances were found at the venue or on the attendees. He confirmed that all individuals taken into custody would undergo medical examinations by a team from the Forensic Sciences Laboratory to determine if any drugs had been consumed.

"The results of these medical tests are pending and further action will be based on the findings," Vishnuvardhan explained. He noted that the organisers of the event had not secured the necessary permissions from local authorities and the police station had no prior knowledge of the party.

The investigation will also include identifying the owner of the private farm.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has been kept informed about the developments. He stated that the police would take appropriate legal action in response to the raid.
