Metro Stations Into Lively Hubs

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) officials, the agency behind the Delhi-Meerut-Ghaziabad RRTS corridor, said that efforts are underway to redefine the Namo Bharat travel experience. "We're working to turn our stations into lively hubs of culture and community, not just places to catch a train," the official said. "Activities like live sketching sessions and art exhibitions are part of this initiative, aimed at engaging commuters and adding a creative dimension to their daily journey."

The official also noted that the initiative serves as a valuable platform for emerging artists, allowing them to display their work to a broad and varied audience. "It’s a unique opportunity for young talent to gain visibility and connect with thousands of commuters every day," the official explained.

Now in its second edition, the event takes place every Friday at 6 PM and has quickly become a highlight for commuters. After the enthusiastic response to Season 1, the series was revived due to popular demand. Musical Fridays provide a stage for emerging musical talent, whether solo performers, duets, or bands, from schools, colleges, and independent circles across the NCR to share their music with a wide and diverse audience.
