Namo Bharat train will start its operation two hours early than usual at 6 am on Sunday on the occasion of Bhai Dooj, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) said in a statement. Trains will be operated with increased frequency, it added. According to the statement, train services on the operational section of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor will start early on Sunday, operating from 6 am instead of the usual 8 am.
It will continue until 10 pm. Generally, Namo Bharat train services operate from 6 am from Monday to Saturday and 8 am on Sunday, it stated. Trains will run with increased frequency throughout the day to accommodate the anticipated higher passenger volume, ensuring a smooth and comfortable travel experience for all, the statement said.

Namo Bharat Train Operations To Begin Till Delhi's New Ashok
The trial run between Sahibabad to New Ashok Nagar in Delhi is expected to begin soon. This train is expected to start operating on the 82 km long Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor by June next year. This shall make it possible to travel from Delhi to Meerut in less than an hour. Currently, Namo Bharat Train operates in a 42 km section from Sahibabad station of Regional Rapid Transit System to Meerut South. With services from Sahibabad to New Ashok Nagar, the length of the operated section of RRTS will increase to 54 km, which will have 11 stations.

-Anand Vihar and New Ashok Nagar are two RRTS stations.
-Anand Vihar RRTS station will be the most crowded station. This station will be connected to two metro lines (Blue and Pink), Anand Vihar Railway Station and two ISBTs of Delhi and Kaushambi (Uttar Pradesh). It is being developed as a model of multi-modal integration.
-New Ashok Nagar Metro Station is located at a distance of less than 100 metres from New Ashok Nagar RRTS station. Both will be connected by a foot over bridge (FOB). To reach the -RRTS station, there will be two FOBs from Chilla Village, Mayur Vihar Extension and from near the ancient Shiva temple.
