NEET Exam Paper Leak: Amid nationwide outrage over alleged irregularities in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-Undergraduate) exams, a new revelation has shocked the nation with four arrested men confessing that the question paper for the medical entrance exam was leaked the previous day. Among those arrested, three are aspirants reportedly identified as Anurag Yadav, Amit Anand, Nitish Kumar, and Sikandar Yadavendu, a junior engineer at the Danapur municipal council.

One of the arrested aspirants, Amit Anand rocked the nation by confessing that he orchestrated the leak of the NEET-UG 2024 exam paper. Another aspirant Anurag Yadav confessed that he memorised the paper at night and the leaked paper he received matched the actual exam paper. All four accused admitted that they received the question paper the day before the medical entrance exam and used it to memorise the answers. They told the police that the exact questions appeared in the examination paper the next day.

The results were questioned as an unprecedented 67 students have attained a perfect score of 720.

Earlier on Thursday, NTA informed the Supreme Court on Thursday that the scorecards of 1563 applicants who received "grace marks" in the NEET-UG exam will be cancelled, and the candidates will be allowed to retake the exam on June 23, with results expected by June 30.
