NEET, UGC-NET Protests:  The National Testing Agency is facing severe criticism after irregularities surfaced in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2024 exam and the UGC NET exam got cancelled after the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre found the examination paper up for sale on Darknet. NTA's failure to conduct the exams fairly has stirred up nationwide protests with leaders of political parties, student bodies and aspirants themselves hitting the streets, demanding strict action against the masterminds of the alleged leaks and compromises.

While students and parents take the battle of their careers to the corridors of the judiciary, the main opposition party Congress has called for nationwide protests by its cadre and INDIA bloc members. Many student bodies including the All India Student Association (AISA), NSUI and others have also organised massive protests in the capital Delhi and other cities across the country.

The NEET protests were witnessed across various cities of the country, with youth coming out of their houses demanding a fair and free system of examination. Here are some glimpses of the nationwide NEET protests.
