Haryana News: The Samadhi Temple (Baba Samadhi Wale Mandir) in Hansi, Haryana, is known for its historic and religious significance, as well as miraculous stories. Hundreds of devotees visit the temple daily. Recently, the Haryana government made major announcements for the renovation of the Samadhi Temple.
What Is The Temple Considered Miraculous?
The Samadhi Temple, located southwest of Hansi, approximately one kilometre from the Gausai Gate, is named after the samadhi of Baba Jagannath Puri.
Hansi has just been designated as the 23rd district of Haryana. As a result, the government is paying special attention to development programs in this district. In this regard, the government is also working on the renovation of the Samadhi Temple.
The Government To Facelift The Samadhi Mandir?
The city council has decided to develop the route from the ancient Samadhi Temple to the Sisai Bridge as a Smart Road with colourful tiles. Special attention will be paid to lighting and greenery. Benches will also be installed for devotees. Seven selfie points will also be installed along the route.

Why Is Samadhi Temple So Special?
There is a 150-year-old banyan tree within the temple complex. It is said to float in the air. Its main root is separated from the ground. When you look at the tree, you can see a space of about a foot between its main trunk and the main root. This makes it appear as if it is floating in the air.
The tree's thick branches are resting on the tree next to it, providing its main support for survival. Therefore, the main trunk of this tree is now simply hanging in the air. Because the tree's main support is its main trunk, the focus is on it, and it appears to be suspended in midair. People on social media consider it a miracle and come from far away to see it.
What Is The History Of The Temple?
Baba Jagannath Puri was said to be a miraculous saint of the medieval period. He laid the foundation of this temple. He was born in the year 1570 AD on the fifth day of the dark fortnight of the Bhado month, to the Rajput family of Surajaram Tanwar in Tosham town of Bhiwani district. His family guru, Saint Pawanpuri Ji, was present at his birth. Baba refuted the discrimination and hypocrisy prevalent in the name of religion in this area and gave the message to every person in the society to live together in love.
