Guwahati Woman Stripped: A disturbing video of a young woman surfaced on social media from Assam's Guwahati, in which the woman is seen being assaulted. According to media reports, the incident occurred at a nightclub - ‘The Locals’ disco club - in Khanapara on Thursday night.

The woman, who was allegedly stripped and assaulted by bouncers, is seen lying on the ground in the basement of the building in the videos viral on social media.

Local news outlets reported that the victim was stripped and dragged at the nightclub housed on the fourth floor of the building. She was brought down from the fourth floor to the basement with almost no clothes on her body.

Woman Bouncer Seen Kicking Her

The video shows a bouncer kicking her in the basement and then a woman attempting to lift her. In the video, some men are also seen, but no one attempted to rescue her.

When the news spread, some local media personnel arrived at a nightclub in Khanapara, but they found it was closed late Thursday night. The nightclub management reportedly shut the gate and switched off the lights.

The reason for the fight was yet to be ascertained. The identity of the woman has also not been established. Media reports suggested that a group of people first stripped her on the floor of the club and started assaulting her.

The Guwahati Police registered a case and initiated an investigation. However, an official statement from the police and the nightclub is awaited.

The incident reportedly came to light after a local media person arrived at the basement of the nightclub. He called other reporters, and when they went to the fourth floor where the nightclub was located, they found that the club's gate was locked and the lights were switched off.
