It is likely to be held at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's residence in Delhi, where the opposition will seek removal of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar. The demonstration is being held two days before the proposed rally at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan amid the ongoing row.
INDIA Bloc's 'Jan Mahabhiyog'
As per the reports, the opposition changed its plan of holding a 'mock parliament' to avoid any action of contempt of parliament. However, the INDIA Bloc has continued its plan by holding a similar demonstration to highlight the issues. As per the plan, Kharge will reportedly begin the proceedings, and the concluding remarks will be given by Rahul Gandhi, leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha.
The representatives from 19 parties will be given a chance to speak, with a deadline of five minutes; however, reports suggest that TMC and Samajwadi Party will be given 10 minutes each. Apart from this, the members of civil societies and the individuals affected due to the SIR are also likely to speak.
