Tamil Nadu Power Cut on Oct 23: The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) has announced that several areas will face power cuts on Friday. Officials have asked residents to stay updated and plan their day accordingly. The electricity will be suspended from 9 AM to 2 PM due to monthly maintenance work. They also assured that electricity will be restored soon after the required maintenance work is completed.

Thelur: Palayakudi, Thelur, Vilankudy, Nagamangalam, Periyathiru and Konam.
Poyyathanallur: Salaiyakurichy, Kadugur, Rayampuram, Thamaraikulam.
K. Vilakku: Pirathukaranpatty, Thirumalapuram, Annamill and its surrounding areas.
Trichy: Paramasivapuram, A K NGR, Idaiyatrumangalam, TV NGR, Aanhimedu, Thirumanamedu, Mumoodichalamangalam, Thaneerbanthal, Sathamangalam and Varathajan NGR, Anbu NGR, E. Puthur, Krishnapuram 1&2 Cross, Ramachandra NGR, Kutti Malai, Arasu Cly, Rajeev Ganthi NGR, KRS NGR, RMS Cly, Arunachalam CLY and Sokkalingapuram.
Sendurai: Sendurai, Naduvalur, Thelur, Kallankurichi, Collector Office.
Metro: Sulur, T.M.Nagar, Ranganathapuram, M.G.Pudur, B.S.Nagar, Kannampalayam, Kangeyampalayam, Ravuthur, Thomas Park, Kamarajar Road, Racecourse, Avinashi Road (From Anna Statue To Collectorate), Trichy Road (From Kannan Department To Ramanathapuram Signal), Puliyakulam Road (From Sungam To Vinayagar).
However, it further stated that supply in some of the regions could be restored before the scheduled time. The authority also stated that the repair works are being conducted to improve the electric infrastructure system in the city.
