In a shocking incident, the family of a businessman was kidnapped at gunpoint in Noida, and the culprits escaped with cash. The incident occurred in the Sector 30B Block, where the family of Amarjeet was taken hostage, and the criminals also carried out a robbery. After kidnapping the family from their home, the criminals looted the property and later abandoned them at a deserted location.

The case is currently under investigation, with eight police teams working to track down the culprits. According to the police, a case has been filed following a complaint lodged by Amarjeet's wife, Parminder Kaur. However, there is no evidence of forced entry into the house at this time.

Reports suggest that three unidentified individuals entered the house, threatened the family, and stole cash. Additionally, a complaint has been filed against the security guard, and a case has been registered based on this information. The forensic team is thoroughly investigating all aspects of the incident. Despite the ongoing investigation, there is still no evidence of forced entry from the outside. With eight teams working on the case, authorities are hopeful it will be solved soon.

Case Filed Against Husband In Dowry and Triple Talaq Allegations

In another case from Greater Noida, a woman from a village in the Ecotech-3 Police Station area has filed a case against her husband and 16 others at the women’s police station. The husband has been accused of giving triple talaq, and the in-laws are alleged to have attempted murder after demanding additional dowry. The police are investigating the matter further.

According to the woman's statement, her marriage to Rahul Khan from Anwar Garh took place in November 2016. Her family had provided a dowry that exceeded their financial capacity. However, her in-laws were unhappy with the dowry received at the time of the marriage. Rahul, along with his relatives— Ashif, Gulhasan, Saif Ali, Naeem, Mohin, Momin, Vakila, Sitara, Munija, Muskaan, Gulista, Kallo, Imran, Zeeshan, and Zakir—frequently complained that the dowry was insufficient.

Slowly, they began demanding an additional five lakh rupees and a Scorpio car. When these demands were not met, the woman was subjected to both mental and physical abuse. The husband also repeatedly threatened her with triple talaq. The situation worsened after the couple had two daughters.

The woman further alleged that on the night of May 20, 2024, the accused assaulted her and attempted to hang her by tying a rope around her neck and securing it to a ceiling fan. Thankfully, the victim managed to escape with her life. The accused then went to his in-laws' house, where he and his relatives assaulted the victim and caused property damage. The husband also pronounced triple talaq three times. After lodging a complaint with the police, counselling took place, but no solution was reached.
