Noida Jewar Airport News: The Uttar Pradesh government has prepared a plan to build a 76-kilometre expressway connecting Jewar Airport directly to the Ganga Expressway. This link will enhance regional connectivity and reduce travel time considerably. The government has also allocated Rs 1,000 crore for the development of the new expressway originating from Bulandshahr. This link will connect to the Yamuna Expressway approximately 24 kilometres ahead, with an estimated total project cost of Rs 4,415 crore. Upon completion, this link will provide expedited access to Jewar Airport for residents of Meerut and Bulandshahr, as well as benefit users of the Purvanchal and Bundelkhand Expressways.
Expressway To Boost Statewide Connectivity
The proposed link expressway is poised to serve as a vital corridor, integrating the Ganga Expressway with other major expressways in Uttar Pradesh.
Currently, the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, Purvanchal Expressway, and the under-construction Ganga Expressway traverse the state from west to east. The forthcoming Farrukhabad Link Expressway is also set to connect the Bundelkhand Expressway to the Ganga Expressway.
