Jagran Correspondent, Noida: A woman in Noida's Cape Town Society in Sector 74 slapped a society staffer multiple times after being angry due to the power cuts and unavailability of backup. A viral video related to the incident shows the woman slapping the staff 23 times in less than a minute. The woman, along with a male friend, allegedly abused and misbehaved with the other staff members who came to de-escalate the situation. The police, upon being informed about the incident, arrived at the site and have launched a probe into the matter.

The woman was upset over the frequent power cuts and unavailability of power backup and created a huge ruckus at the maintenance office of the society. She blamed Kamal, the victim, for the power cuts and began misbehaving when he confronted her. The matter escalated after Kamal said something to Amit, the friend who accompanied the key accused.

The woman slapped the staff several times after a brief argument and abused the other staff members of the society present at the site. A 1-minute-15-second video of the incident quickly went viral on multiple social media platforms, showing the woman and her friend misbehaving with the society staff.

The local police arrived at the site after being informed and filed a case against the woman and her friend for disrupting the peace of the society and assaulting the staff member. However, the accused further claimed that the staff had misbehaved with her, leading to the escalation. The police, after listening to both sides, have launched a probe into the matter.
Earlier, a woman was found lying on the roads of Greater Noida under the influence of alcohol. The woman caused traffic jams and inconvenience to the commuters. The woman (32) lives in the Amrapalli River View Society in Greater Noida West. According to police, the incident took place on June 1, 2026, in the Bisrakh police station area.
