MP News: A shocking incident has come to light from the Amarpatan police station area of Maihar district, Madhya Pradesh, in which a minor girl was gangraped by her online friend for days. According to the Amarpatan police, the accused lured a 15-year-old girl from Ahmedabad into a love trap through the online Free Fire game and then eloped with her.
Gujarat Police, acting under sections of kidnapping, rape, and the POCSO Act, arrested the accused, who was identified as Shivshant, 20, on Saturday. The police took the accused to Ahmedabad.

Accused Befriends Minor On Online Gaming Platform
According to information received from the police, Shivshant befriended the minor through the Free Fire game. They exchanged mobile numbers through the gaming platform and began talking. Their friendship gradually blossomed into love. Taking advantage of this, the accused travelled to Ahmedabad and lured the minor into a love trap. Then he eloped with her to Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. Shivshant kept the minor in a rented room and raped her for several days.
The girl's family filed a missing case in Ahmedabad. While investigating the missing complaint, the Ahmedabad police recovered the minor from Rewa and handed her over to her family. Knowing about the police action, the accused fled and remained at large.

Gujarat Police Arrests Youth
On Saturday, a team of Gujarat police arrived in Amarpatan from Ahmedabad in search of the absconding accused youth. During the search, Shivshant was arrested with the help of Amarpatan police. Gujarat Police said the accused will be taken to Ahmedabad; after that, he will be produced in court for further interrogation. "The accused has been arrested, and digital evidence is being collected," they added.
