'Oppn Wants To Defame Ayodhya, Weaken Sanatan Dharma': UP Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak On Ram Mandir Donation Theft Row

Jagran Correspondent, Mirzapur | Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, who participated in a conversation with intellectuals at Dr Tamtam's Hospital in Purjagir, Kon Block, Mirzapur, questioned critics why they are silent on donations for the Babri Masjid.

While speaking to reporters, he said that everyone is silent on the donations for the Babri Masjid. When the deputy chief minister was questioned on the donation theft in Adyodhya's Ram temple, he retorted go and ask the Samajwadi Party about the Babri Masjid as well.

"Ask Akhilesh Yadav, who practices appeasement politics, whether madrasas are operating illegally or receiving funds from outside. What are the maulanas doing about it? The government has investigated madrasas and even closed them. In Sambhal, a temple was taken over and incorporated into a house," Pathak said.

Attempts Are Being Made To Weaken Sanatan Dharma: Pathak

They want to weaken the culture by questioning Sanatan Dharma, he said, adding that this is a conspiracy to defame Ayodhya. The government is committed to zero tolerance to curb corruption and misconduct, he asserted.

Are You The Police? Pathak Asks Reporters

Pathak fumed when he was asked why prominent figures were not named in the FIR regarding the embezzlement of funds from donation boxes for the Ram Temple, saying has anyone asked what happened to the donations of Babri Masjid?

He asked, "What happened to the donations for the Babri Masjid? Ask questions about this. Are you the police, or are we? The police administration is conducting an impartial investigation. Strict action will be taken under the law in the Ayodhya donation theft case."

Services Will Be Improved At Dr Tamtam's Hospital: Pathak

Pathak, while interacting with the public at Dr Tamtam's Hospital, assured them of improved healthcare, roads, water, and electricity. He said that Mirzapur district should develop comprehensively and become the best in the state.

The government is continuously working to ensure that people have access to better road, electricity, and water facilities. Some complaints have been received regarding the hospital, and the administration has been ordered to investigate. If anyone found guilty in this matter is found guilty, the strictest possible action will be taken, he added.
