India on Thursday foiled a massive Pakistani drone attack in Punjab's Gurdaspur, Rajasthan's Jaisalmer and Jammu and Kashmir's Pathankot. Around eight missiles have been launched at Satwari, Samba, RS Pura and Arnia sectors in Jammu and Kashmir. However, all were intercepted by Indian Air Defence units. Several drones have been intercepted by India's Air Defence System in Jaisalmer, Jammu, Akhoor and Gurdaspur. Meanwhile, mortar shelling has also been reported in Samba near LoC.

- A loud sound, likely of shelling, was heard in Jaisalmer on Thursday, police sources said. A top officer confirmed that a sound was heard in Jaisalmer. Forces are on high alert and border districts remain under a blackout.
