Parliament Breach: The purported images showing Lalit Mohan Jha, the alleged mastermind behind the entire plot in the Parliament Security breach case, with Trinamool Congress leader have become the fresh contention between the party and BJP. While the Bharatiya Janata Party accused TMC and the entire INDIA bloc of being complicit in the breach, the Trinamool has pointed out that it is the BJP's Mysuru MP who has been accused of playing a key role in providing a pass to the two intruders.

Taking to social media platform X, Bengal BJP chief Dr Sukanto Majumdar posted a photo of Lalit Jha with senior Trinamool leader Tapas Roy. "Lalit Jha, the mastermind of the attack on our Temple of Democracy, had been in close association with TMC's Tapas Roy for a long time... Isn't this proof enough for an investigation into the connivance of the leader?" the caption read.

The BJP's IT cell chief Amit Malviya also hit out at TMC and said "So far, people involved in the entire episode have been found to have links with the Congress, CPI (Maoist) and now the TMC".

"Isn’t it obvious that a desperate INDIA Alliance, just to undermine the incumbent Govt, has staged an attack on the Indian Parliament? The institution that is the voice of 140 crore Indians…" Malviya wrote on X.

Reacted to Malviya's post, TMC leader Kunal Gosh hit back at BJP and said the saffron party's internal failings led to this unprecedented breach of Parliament's security.

"Let's scrutinize the facts: the culprits were granted access by none other than @BJP4Karnataka MP @mepratap. Only 176 Delhi Police personnel were on duty instead of the usual 300 to secure the Parliament. @BJP4India's internal failings led to this unprecedented breach of Parliament's security," Gosh replied to BJP.

On Thursday, the Delhi Police Special Cell arrested Lalit Mohan Jha, the mastermind behind the entire plot in the Parliament Security breach case. According to the Delhi Police, "Lalit Jha came to the police station on his own after which the police arrested him and started an interrogation."
