The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a tour package called "Japan Ex-Delhi" for those interested in travelling abroad. During this nine-night, 10-day tour, tourists will have the opportunity to experience Japan's culture, cutting-edge technology, and natural beauty up close.

Tour Dates And Costs

The tour will begin in Delhi on September 6, 2026, and conclude on September 15, 2026. Passengers will fly from Delhi to Tokyo (Haneda) on All Nippon Airways (ANA). Pricing is set at Rs 3,49,999 per person for twin/double sharing accommodation, while the package for solo travellers is priced at Rs 4,73,999.

What Does The Package Include?

Under this package, tourists will visit Tokyo, Hakone, Hamamatsu, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, and Hiroshima. During the trip, you will be able to see the world-famous Mount Fuji, Kyoto's Bamboo Forest, Osaka Castle, and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. A highlight of this trip is the thrilling experience of travelling on the famous "Bullet Train" from Shin-Osaka to Hiroshima and from Hiroshima to Tokyo.

Indians travelling abroad often face food and beverage issues. Keeping this in mind, IRCTC has included Indian-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the package.

What All Do You Need For The Trip

To book a package, travellers must have a PAN card and a passport with a minimum validity of six months. In addition to the package price, a 2 per cent TCS (Tax Collected at Source) fee will be charged. Required documents such as bank statements and ITR (Income Tax Return) records must be submitted to IRCTC for visa applications.
