Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a nine-day 'Bharat Darshan' in view of the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls. Beginning today, PM Modi will visit Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, J-K, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan between March 4 and 12.
PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of a plethora of projects during his slated visits. He will visit Jammu and Kashmir on March 7. This will be the PM’s first visit to the valley since the abrogation of Article 370. He will be holding a big rally in Srinagar’s Bakshi Stadium.

Between the marathon meetings across the nation, PM Modi will briefly come back to Delhi for the Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting of the BJP, where a decision regarding the second list of candidates will be made.
A sneak into PM’s tour:
On March 4, PM Modi will visit Telangana, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects related to power, rail and road sectors worth more than Rs 62,000 crore at a public programme in Adilabad followed by a public address.
On March 5, PM Modi will participate in a programme in Telangana’s Sangareddy. He will then depart for Odisha. He may leave for Kolkata in the night to stay at Raj Bhawan.
On March 6, he will Krishnanagar in West Bengal for a programme and then go to Bettiah in Bihar for another function. He will briefly return to Delhi for the CEC meeting.
On March 7 PM Modi will reach Srinagar. Security has been beefed up in the valley owing to the PM’s proposed visit.
On March 8, he will embark on a two-day trip to Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and West Bengal. In Arunachal Pradesh, he will inaugurate the Sela Tunnel and stay the night in Assam.
On March 9, he will reach West Bengal to inaugurate several sections of Kolkata Metro.
On March 10, PM Modi will go to Uttar Pradesh’s Azamgarh for a one-day visit.
On March 11, PM Modi will be in Delhi to attend several events. He will also inaugurate the Dwarka Expressway.

On March 12, he will be in Gujarat and Rajasthan. The PM will lay the foundation stone of the Sabarmati Ashram redevelopment project. He will also lay the foundation stone of a semiconductor unit.
