PM Modi Gujarat Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a one-day visit to Gujarat on September 20, Saturday. During his Gujarat visit, PM Modi will hold a road show, a public meeting and inaugurate key projects as well as review heritage development works in the state.

The Prime Minister will review the progress of the National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC) at Lothal in the Ahmedabad district, as per a release from the Gujarat Chief Minister's Office (CMO).

The Heritage Museum in Lothal is being built so that every citizen can easily understand its history, as per CMO. Using cutting-edge technology, the project aims to recreate the grandeur of that ancient era. Lothal, a key city of the Harappan civilisation, is famed for housing the oldest man-made dockyard.

PM Modi's Program Schedule

-Prime Minister Narendra Modi's one-day visit to Gujarat will begin in Bhavnagar where he will hold a road show. He will then address a large public rally at Jawahar Maidan.

-During his Bhavnagar visit, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate shipping and maritime projects worth Rs 1.5 lakh crore. He will also inaugurate development projects worth over Rs 100 crore.

-PM Modi will visit Lothal in Ahmedabad district on Saturday at around 1 pm to review the progress of the National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC).

-The complex is considered a symbol of India's ancient maritime power. This project, estimated to cost over Rs 4,500 crore, is a significant step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister's vision of "Heritage as well as Development".
