Bomb Threat at Mandi Hospital:A bomb threat was reported at Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Medical College and Hospital in Nerchowk, Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, prompting the administration to evacuate the entire campus as a precaution. Security agencies have been placed on high alert, especially in light of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the state. PM Narendra Modi took a helicopter from Pathankot Air Base to Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, for an aerial survey of flood and landslide-affected areas in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.

Patients undergoing treatment were also evacuated, causing chaos in the hospital premises. According to Jagran.com, patients were seen sitting on stretchers and wheelchairs under trees away from the hospital building. The hospital administration reportedly received the bomb threat via email early Tuesday morning.

Fire brigade personnel, Quick Response Teams (QRT), and a bomb disposal squad from Mandi rushed to the scene. The entire hospital premises are currently under search operations, with the help of sniffer dogs.
