Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday took a swipe at Congress in Rajasthan and said that the state government is destroying the future of the youth of Rajasthan. Hitting out at Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the Prime Minister said that 'red diary' will defeat him in elections in state.
"The Congress has only run 'Loot ki dukaan' and 'Jhooth ka bazaar' in Rajasthan in the name of running government...The latest product of this is the 'Laal Diary' of Rajasthan. It is said that in this diary Congress' black deeds are listed," he said.
"Paper leak industry running in Rajasthan, Cong government will have to be removed to fulfil dreams of youths," he said. "The central government is working for the development of youth...But what is happening in Rajasthan? Youth's future is being played with in Rajasthan. A paper leak program is being run in the state. The youth of the state are capable but the government here is ruining their future," added PM Modi.

Speaking about the absence of the Rajasthan CM from the event PM Modi said, "CM Ashok Gehlot has been ill for some time now and has injured his leg. He was supposed to attend the program today, but could not due to his health conditions. I pray for his good health."
Ashok Gehlot's Response To PM Modi's 'Red Diary' Jibe
Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot was quick to respond to PM Modi's jab about 'red diary' and said that the state is being targettted.
"I heard that PM gave a speech in Sikar on 'Laal Diary'. The position of PM holds dignity. IT, ED and CBI are being misused across the country. Can't they gather information from on the 'Diary' from them?...Are they so perturbed? Rajasthan is being targetted - that there is atrocity here, that there is no law and order here," he said.
"Rajasthan has seen the most number of raids. Elections are due in three months. They are perturbed as they can see people's mood. So, they are levelling baseless allegations. 'Laal Diary' is one of them," he further added.

Meanwhile, during the event, the Prime Minister also launched a veiled attack at the newly renamed Opposition alliance, I.N.D.I.A and said, "With the label of INDIA, they want to cover up their old deeds, the deeds of UPA. Had they really cared about India, would they have asked foreigners to interfere in India?... They had once given the slogan 'Indira is India, India is Indira.' At that time, they were uprooted by the people..These people of arrogance have done this again. They say 'UPA is India. India is UPA'. People will treat them the same once again."
Earlier in the day, PM Modi inaugurated several projects including the release of the 14th installment of the Centre’s flagship scheme Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) at a programme held during his visit to Rajasthan's Sikar.
Further, in a significant move benefiting farmers, PM Modi also dedicated 1.25 lakh PM Kisan Samriddhi Kendras (PMKSKs) to the nation.
