Narendra Modi Oath Taking Ceremony Live Telecast: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has emerged victorious in the recent parliamentary elections, securing a third consecutive term for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In a meeting held on Friday, the newly-elected Members of Parliament (MPs) unanimously chose Narendra Modi as their leader, paving the way for his swearing-in as Prime Minister on Sunday, June 9.

The oath-taking ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India, at around 7:15 pm. The premises have been closed to the public from June 5 to June 9 in preparation for this momentous event.

Where To Watch PM Modi's Oath Ceremony

The ceremony will be broadcasted live on various national television channels, including the public service broadcaster Doordarshan and will also be available for streaming on YouTube and other social media platforms. Citizens can tune in to these outlets to witness the historic moment as Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi takes the oath for the third time.

On June 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, submitting his resignation and that of the Union Council of Ministers, as per the constitutional process.

Guest Attending Narendra Modi's Oath Ceremony

The upcoming inauguration ceremony is expected to be attended by over 8,000 dignitaries, including foreign leaders from various countries. Leaders from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Bhutan, Nepal, Mauritius and Seychelles have accepted invitations, reflecting the Indian government's "Neighbourhood First Policy" and its emphasis on strengthening relations with key island nations in the Indian Ocean region.

Following the swearing-in ceremony, the visiting dignitaries will be hosted for a formal banquet at the Rashtrapati Bhavan by President Droupadi Murmu.
