Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Karmayogi Saptah National Learning Week (NLW) on Saturday at 10:30 AM. The event which will motivate all central government employees, including civil servants, towards personal and organisational growth, will take place at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre in the capital on Saturday. The aim of NLW is to promote capacity building and learning of civil servants. Under the program, every government employee will be required to take four hours of competency-related education during the week.

This initiative will encourage a renewed commitment to learning and development. NLW aims to convey the message of "One Government", and connect all with national goals and promote lifelong learning. NLW will be dedicated to learning through various forms in collaboration with participants and ministries, departments and organisations.

The National Learning Week (NLW) will be the largest event of its kind providing fresh impetus towards individual and organisational capacity development for Civil Servants, said an official statement.
Every Karmayogi Will Receive At Least Four Hours Of Competency-Based Education
Each Karmayogi will commit to achieving the target of at least four hours of competency-based learning during the National Learning Week programme. Various ministries and departments will organise workshops and seminars to enhance specific competencies. Participants can complete the targeted hours through iGOT modules and webinars (public lectures/masterclasses) by eminent personalities.
Prominent Speakers To Attend Event
During the week, eminent speakers will deliver talks on their areas of prominence and help them work towards citizen-centric delivery in a much more effective manner. During the week, the Ministries, Departments and Organisations will also organise seminars and workshops to enhance domain specific competencies, according to an official statement by the government.
