In a tragic car crash, two trainee pilots lost their lives and two others were injured in Pune district, Maharashtra, in the early hours of Monday. The victims were identified as Takshu Sharma and Aditya Kanase, both 21, were trainee pilots from Redbird Flight Training Academy in Baramati.
The incident occurred around 3:30 AM on Baramati-Bhigwan Road when the car crashed into a tree. According to Sudarshan Rathod, Deputy Superintendent of Police for the Baramati division, the group had consumed alcohol at a party before deciding to go on a drive. The injured, Krishna Singh and Cheshta Bishnoi, are currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital.

The group was traveling in an SUV, reportedly speeding towards Bhigwan, when the driver lost control at a sharp bend, causing the vehicle to veer off the road. The collision was so severe that the car became lodged against a concrete pipeline after hitting the tree. Unfortunately, Sharma and Kanase died instantly due to the force of the crash, while Singh and Bishnoi sustained serious injuries.
