Pune Rains: According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a yellow alert has been issued till Friday, September 6, for thunderstorms and lightning in Pune district. The weather forecast predicts a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain. The maximum temperature is expected to be 28 degrees Celsius, and the minimum is likely to be around 21 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity fluctuated between 79 and 86 per cent.

The city is expected to witness varied intensities of rainfall, ranging from light to moderate, in the upcoming week. On September 3 and September 4, Pune is likely to experience a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain. The maximum temperature is expected to range between 28 degrees Celsius and 29 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to oscillate between 22 degrees Celsius and 23 degrees Celsius.
On September 5, the city is expected to have a generally cloudy sky with light rain. The maximum temperature is expected to be 28 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature is likely to be 23 degrees Celsius. Later, on September 6 and September 7, Pune is expected to witness rain. The maximum temperature is expected to range between 28 degrees Celsius and 29 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to be 23 degrees Celsius.

Yellow, Orange, And Red Alerts In Pune
The weather department has issued yellow, orange, and red alerts for various regions in Pune. Areas including Nandurbar, Dhule, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Beed, Parbhani, Hingoli, Nanded, Osmanabad, Solapur, Satara, and a few others have received a yellow alert.
An orange alert has been issued for Aurangabad, indicating very heavy rain. Meanwhile, Amravati is under a red alert for extremely heavy rain.
Telangana Weather: Hyderabad Schools Closed
Amid heavy rain forecast and the red alert issued for Hyderabad district, all primary and secondary schools will remain closed on September 2.
Telangana Red Alert Issued For THESE Districts
The weather department has issued a red alert for very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in several districts, including Adilabad, Nizamabad, Rajanna Sircilla, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Kamareddy, and Mahabubnagar. This alert is in effect until 8:30 am on September 2.
