Pune-Jodhpur Express Update: The Pune Division of the Central Railway has announced the date for the inaugural run of the Pune-Jodhpur Express. According to several reports, the train will run from May 3 between Pune's Hadapsar and Jodhpur to provide convenience to the passengers.

The daily service was approved by the Ministry of Railways and was announced by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. The service is likely to ease travel for passengers, especially the Rajasthani population living in Pune and nearby areas, for professional commitments. Hadapsar railway station has been chosen as the boarding and arrival point for the service.

Pune-Jodhpur Express: Timings, stoppages

Train number 01401, Hadapsar-Jodhpur Inaugural Special, will leave from Hadapsar on May 3 at 05:30 pm and will reach Jodhpur at 02:00 pm the next day.

Train number 01402, Jodhpur – Hadapsar (Pune) One-Way TOD Special will leave Jodhpur on May 4 at 08:30 pm and arrive at Pune at 05:00 pm the next day.

Moreover, the train will stop at the following stations: Chinchwad, Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Mehsana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Pindwara, Jawai Bandh, Falna, Rani, Marwar, Pali Marwar, and Luni.

As per a Pune Pulse report, the train will have 4 Second Class, 5 Sleeper Class, 4 AC 3-Tier Economy and 1 AC 2-Tier cars. It will also have a generator car and a luggage-cum-gurads brake van.

When will bookings start?

The passengers can start booking reservations for the train no. 01401 from 4:00 pm on May 2 through the IRCTC website and all reservation counters. For unreserved tickets, passengers can approach local station counters or use through UTS APP.

It is worth noting here that the train will provide daily services to not only Rajasthan but areas of Gujarat.
