Pune Traffic Advisory: Closures, Diversions Announced For Maratha Reservation Peace Rally, Check Details

Pune Traffic Advisory: The City Police have issued a traffic advisory in view of the Maratha Reservation Peace Rally scheduled for Sunday (August 11). The advisory has been issued under Sections 115, 118(1)(2)(b), 116(4), and 117 of the Motor Vehicle Act. In light of the rally, significant traffic changes are expected in several parts of the city.

-Katara Road

-Sinhagad Road

-Tilak Road

-Shastri Road

-Laxmi Road

-Kelkar Road

-Bajirao Road

-Shivaji Road

-JM Road

-Karve Road

-Tashesh Khandoji Baba Chowk

Traffic from these intersections will be closed in stages.

Pune Traffic Advisory: Detailed Traffic Diversions

-Navale Bridge: Vehicles coming from Navale Bridge will be redirected to the new tunnel. The rally will progress towards Bopdev Ghat and Jahneka, with traffic from Katraj Chowk to Holga Chowk being affected.

-Sinhagad Road: Traffic will be redirected from Chothe Chowk to Volla Bouk, Mitramandal Chowk, and Khawarkar Mouk.

-Dandekar Bridge: Traffic on Sinhagad Road will be diverted through Dandekar Bridge, Savarkar Chowk, Mitramandal Cheek, and Volga Cheek.

-Savarkar Statue and Phadke Chowk: Traffic will be restricted.

-SP College Chowk and Puram Chowk: Traffic will be closed.

Pune Traffic Advisory: Additional Changes

-Shivaji Road: Vehicles will be rerouted via Rashtrabhushan Chowk and Pahane Dega Setter.

-Seven Love Chowk: Traffic will be restricted.

-Shahtuk Market Yard: Vehicles will be redirected to Kia Pune Station via Nehru Road.

-Satara Road: Traffic will be redirected to Market Yard and Jedhe Chowk, using the Vakhar Corporation route.

-Shivdarshan Week: Traffic will be diverted from Pavani to Darshanma Mandirau.

-Shivdarshan Chowk and Mitramandal Chowk: Traffic will be restricted.

Pune Traffic Advisory: Roads To Remain Closed

-Shanipar Chowk: Traffic will remain closed.

-Belbagh Chowk: Restrictions will be in place.

-Dekker Road: Traffic will be limited.

-Jijamata Chowk: Restrictions will be enforced.

-Jaiwantrao Tikka Bridge: Traffic will be closed towards Shaniwar Wada.

-Kumarvel Chowk: Traffic will be restricted.

The Pune City Police urge commuters to plan their routes in advance and avoid these areas during the rally. The traffic situation will be monitored.
