Pune Weather: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Saturday, September 28, predicting moderate rainfall in Maharashtra's Pune district. Heavy rain during the past few days has caused massive traffic snarls in the city. Additionally, waterlogged roads add to the inconvenience for commuters. The maximum temperature today will remain 28 degrees Celsius, while the minimum will be 22 degrees Celsius. This year, Pune has received more rain than last year, and is expected to see intensified rain activity in the coming week.
The city can expect predominantly cloudy skies and light to moderate rain throughout the week. Temperatures are expected to remain relatively consistent, with minimums ranging from 22 to 24 degrees Celsius and maximums reaching 28 to 29 degrees Celsius.
On Sunday, the city is expected to see light rain. The maximum temperature will be around 28 degrees. The trend is likely to remain the same next week as well. From Thursday, the rain activity will intensify in the city. Sporadic rainfall was observed in the city and surrounding areas, with moderate rain reported in the outskirts, according to meteorological officials.

Pune residents of the city are facing severe traffic issues due to water accumulation on the roads. With the water reaching the waist-level, vehicles were seen stuck, posing a danger to occupants' lives. Vehicles were also seen stuck behind one another, causing long hours of waiting for commuters before reaching their respective destinations.
