Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has been admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali after he complained of illness. According to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Mann had been unwell for the past two days and his condition did not improve, prompting doctors to recommend hospitalisation. He is currently under observation, and further details are awaited.
Bhagwant Mann had reportedly been suffering from viral fever and digestive issues over the past two days. As his condition showed no signs of improvement, he was rushed to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment, news agency PTI reported.
“Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was brought to Fortis Hospital, Mohali, after he complained of exhaustion and low heart rate. On arrival, his vitals were assessed and have since stabilised. He is currently under observation, and his pulse rate has improved. Our medical team continues to closely monitor his condition,” The Indian Express quoted Fortis Hospital as saying.
This is the second time during his tenure that Bhagwant Mann has been hospitalised. Earlier last year, he was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali after being diagnosed with bacterial infection.

Following his hospitalisation, Congress MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira raised questions about why the Chief Minister had not visited the Aam Aadmi Clinic in Mohali, which the AAP government claims offers world-class healthcare facilities.

Lastly, i hope this time it's not a fake health news bcoz last time when Bhagwant Mann was admitted to Fortis it was theatrics & drama ! Last but not the least people don't expect Fortis Hospital to issue fake health bulletins like they did last time!,” Khaira wrote.
