Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and his wife Dr Gurpreet Kaur were blessed with a daughter on Thursday. Sharing the news on his X account, CM Bhagwant Mann said “God has given them the gift of a daughter,’’ adding that both the mother and child are healthy and currently admitted at a Mohali hospital.

CM Bhagwant Mann and Dr Gurpreet Kaur got married in July 2022 in Chandigarh, seven years after AAP leader's divorce from his first wife Inderpreet Kaur in 2015.

CM Mann has two children from his first marriage, a daughter named Seerut Kaur Mann (23) and a son Dilshan Singh Mann (19).

CM Mann’s wife, Gurpreet Kaur hails from Haryana’s Kurukshetra. She completed her MBBS from Markandeshwar University in Mullana in 2018 and got married about four months after CM Mann took oath as chief minister of Punjab.
