Punjabi Bagh Flyover: The Punjabi Bagh Club Road flyover was officially inaugurated by Chief Minister Atishi on Thursday, relieving thousands of commuters who use this route. “The infrastructure development in the city was done at a high speed in the last 10 years. Several elevated roads, flyovers, and underpasses were constructed during the tenure of AAP in the city. This new flyover is going to provide relief from traffic jams to people living in adjoining areas,” said Atishi.

The chief minister asserts that 3 lakh people will be benefited by the opening of this flyover, which will pass three red lights. The CM stated that the major flyover, which is 1.1 km long and has six lanes, is located between Club Road and the ESI metro station and is a component of a bigger corridor redevelopment plan. In March 2024, former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal officially opened a section of the corridor.

Traffic from Haryana travels via Rohtak Road (NH-10), which is connected to this section of the route. The flyover's construction will streamline traffic in Punjabi Bagh.
Officials say that the project will facilitate connections between north Delhi and Gurgaon, south Delhi, other areas of the National Capital Region. Additionally, it will cut down on fuel use and commuting time. Around 1,25,952 cars will benefit from the flyover each day, and travel times will be shortened by about 6.5 minutes.
