Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader and LoP Lok Sabha, on Tuesday linked the 'vote theft' to the unemployment, saying as long as elections are "stolen", unemployment and corruption will continue to rise. The Congress leader asserted that young people will no longer tolerate "job theft" and "vote theft". The attempt to draw jobless youths comes days after Gandhi's post for the controversial Gen Z, which is in the news after the violent Nepal stir.

Rahul Gandhi said, "The biggest problem for youth in India is unemployment - and it is directly linked to vote theft. When any government comes to power by winning the trust of the people, its first duty is to provide employment and opportunities to the youth. But the BJP does not win elections honestly - they stay in power by stealing votes and holding institutions captive. That's why unemployment has reached its highest level in 45 years."
That's why jobs are declining, recruitment processes have collapsed, and the youth's future is being pushed into darkness, he argued, adding that's why every exam paper leak and every recruitment is tied to stories of corruption.
"The youth of the country works hard, dreams, and struggles for their future. But Modi ji is only busy with his PR, getting celebrities to sing his praises, and the profits of billionaires. Breaking the hopes of the youth and making them desperate has become the hallmark of this government," he asserted.
Gandhi said now the situation was changing and the youth of India had realized that the real fight was not just for jobs, but against vote theft. Because as long as elections continue to be stolen, unemployment and corruption will also keep increasing, he added.
"Now the youth will neither tolerate the looting of jobs nor the theft of votes. Freeing India from unemployment and vote theft is now the greatest patriotism," he added.
