Bihar News: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday offered candies to a BJYM worker who showed him black flags during the 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' in Bihar's Arrah district. The BJYM workers staged a protest and showed black flags to the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha over the alleged derogatory remarks made against the Prime Minister and his late mother at an INDIA Bloc event in Darbhanga. In a video related to the incident, Gandhi is seen calling the protestors near his vehicle and talking to them. Apart from this, the Congress MP also offered candies to the BJYM worker as he returned to the protest site.

In the video, Rahul Gandhi is seen asking his driver to stop the vehicle after noticing an ongoing protest on his way. The Congress leader called one of the BJYM workers near his vehicle and was seen asking him to say everything on his face. While the protestor was reluctant to go near Rahul's car, he went near the Congress leader after being convinced. Several social media users have reacted to the video by appreciating Gandhi's gesture. "BJYM worker got scared," one of the users wrote. "Can Modi goes to public like this?" another one asked.

Earlier on Friday, a massive controversy sparked after an alleged opposition worker gave derogatory remarks against PM Modi and his late mother from the stage in Darbhanga. Several BJP leaders, including Home Minister Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary, slammed the top opposition leaders for the incident.

The saffron party leaders stated that Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav must apologise for the act. However, the opposition leaders claimed that the top leaders were not present at the site when the derogatory remarks were given, adding that some anti-social elements took the stage without any information.
