Railway News: The railways on Wednesday stated that several trains operating from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh to New Delhi and other states will face delays and cancellation due to poor weather. The authority stated that operation delays in several key trains have troubled the passengers, further advising them to follow the guidelines and plan their journey accordingly to avoid any inconveniences. It also informed that the operation timing of several trains is likely to change due to the delays, adding that the situation is likely to improve in the upcoming weeks.

While providing details, the authority stated that the Saharsa Garib Rath Special (05578), leaving Anand Vihar Terminal at 5.15 am, will leave at 2 am on Saturday morning after a massive delay of 20.45 hours. It further stated that Anand Vihar Terminal-Ayodhya Cantt Summer Special (04214) will leave at 12.50 pm with a delay of 3.50 hours, Anand Vihar-Mau Express will leave at 9 pm with a delay of 7.35 hours.

It further stated that New Delhi-Darbhanga Humsafar Special (02570) will leave at 7 pm with a delay of 6.45 hours, and Old Delhi-Gaya Summer Special (03698) will leave at 11 am with a delay of 2.05 hours.

Apart from this, the advisory also stated that several other trains, including Ballia-Anand Vihar Terminal Superfast Special (04055), Danapur-Anand Vihar Terminal Jansadharan Express, Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Terminal Express, and Banaras-New Delhi Kashi Vishwanath Express, will also face delays of two to six hours.

It further informed that the departure time of other important trains is also likely to change for the next few days. The officials informed that several local trains are also running late in Bihar due to trees falling on the railway tracks at many places due to the storm and rain late Wednesday evening.
