Railway News: In a bid to ensure the convenience of travellers, the Indian Railways has increased the number of coaches in the Patna-Howrah-Patna Vande Bharat Express train from 16 to 20. This major step by the Indian Railways will ensure the convenience of commuters while catering to the rising demand, especially during festive seasons. The Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway announced the new move of Indian Railways on Thursday.
Train Number 22348/22347 Patna-Howrah-Patna Vande Bharat Express was operating with 16 coaches and is set to be upgraded to 20 coaches on July 11. Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, Saraswati Chandra, said, “This decision has been taken in view of the increasing demand of passengers. This extension will increase the passenger capacity of the train, so that more people will be able to take advantage of the facility of this high-speed train.”
Patna-Howrah-Patna Vande Bharat Express is known for modern facilities, comfortable seats and high-speed travel. This move by Indian Railways will be beneficial for passengers, especially during festive seasons and the Shravani Mela.
Additionally, the Indian Railways has also announced to run several special trains for the Shravani Mela. Four pairs of special trains will run for the Shravani Mela, including Ara-Jasidih-Ara Shravani Mela Special, Katihar-Deoghar-Katihar Shravani Mela Special, Dibrugarh-Deoghar-Dibrugarh Shravani Mela Special, and Ranchi-Bhagalpur-Ranchi Shravani Mela Special.
