Railway News: The South East Railway on Sunday announced that four trains passing through Tatanagar of Chakradharpur Railway Division will operate on diverted routes between September 8 and 20 due to repair works. While providing details, the authority stated that pre-NI and NI work will be done for the EI cabin. Apart from this, the authority will conduct yard remodeling work at Durgapur station of Asansol Railway Division between these dates. The railways stated that the passengers of several states, including Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Bihar, are likely to be affected due to the diversion. It further advised the passengers to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.
These trains will be diverted:
Train Number 15629, the Tambaram-Silghat Town Nagaon Express departing from Tambaram on September 8 and 15, will run on the diverted route via Asansol, Andal, and Sainthia stations to Silghat Town station instead of the existing route via Asansol, Andal, Durgapur, and Sainthia stations.

Train Number 15630, the Silghat Town-Tambaram Nagaon Express departing Silghat Town station on September 12 and 19, will run via the diverted route Sainthia, Andal, and Asansol station to Tambaram instead of the existing route Sainthia, Durgapur, Andal, and Asansol.
Train Number 15929, the Tambaram-New Tinsukia Express, leaving from Tambaram on September 11 and 18, will run on the diverted route via Asansol, Andal, and Sainthia stations to New Tinsukia station instead of the existing route via Asansol, Andal, Durgapur, and Sainthia stations.

Train Number 15930, the New Tinsukia-Tambaram Express departing from New Tinsukia station on September 8 and 15, will operate via the diverted route Sainthia, Andal, and Asansol station to Tambaram instead of the existing route Sainthia, Durgapur, Andal, and Asansol.
The railways emphasised that the trains will again operate on the usual route once the repair work is finished on September 20.
