In a bid to increase connectivity with Northeast India and the national capital, the Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to operate five one-way special trains in view of the increasing number of passengers to ensure smooth travel and better connectivity across the region.

According to Jagran.com, citing the Chief Public Relations Officer of NF Railway, Kapinjal Kishore Sharma, the information regarding stoppages and timetable of these trains is available on the IRCTC website.

What Are The Five Special Trains?

05483 (Alipurduar Junction-Delhi)

The One-Way Special will leave Alipurduar Junction at 10:30 hrs on Saturday, December 13 and arrive at Delhi on Sunday, December 14.

Stoppages

This train has stoppages at major stations like: Hasimara, Dalgaon, Binnaguri, Newmal Junction, Siliguri Junction, Bagdogra, Aluabari Road, Kishanganj, Barsoi, Katihar, New Barauni Junction, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Prayagraj Junction, Kanpur Central, Etawah Junction, Aligarh Junction, Ghaziabad, etc.

05936 (Dibrugarh-Kolkata)

The One-way special train will leave Dibrugarh at 05:20 pm on Saturday, December 13 and arrive at Kolkata on Monday, December 15 at 12:30 am.

Stoppages

The train will stop at major stations like Dhemaji, North Lakhimpur, Haramati Junction, Rangapara North, Rangiya, New Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar, New Alipurduar, New Cooch Behar, New Jalpaiguri, Aluabari Road, Kishanganj, Barsoi, Malda Town, etc.

05653 (Agartala-Kolkata)

The one-way special train will depart from the state capital of Tripura, Agartala at 07:35 am on Monday, December 15 and arrive at Kolkata Terminal at 4:40 pm on Tuesday, December 16.

Stoppages

The train will halt at New Karimganj, Badarpur Junction, Guwahati, Goalpara Town, New Bongaigaon, New Alipurduar, New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, etc. stations.

05650 (Silchar-Kolkata)

The one way train will depart Silchar at 05:00 am on Thursday, December 18, and arrive in Kolkata at 12:05 pm on Friday, December 19. 

Stoppages

On the way, the train will halt at Badarpur, Lumding, Guwahati, Goalpara Town, New Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar, New Alipurduar, New Coochbehar, Dhupguri, New Jalpaiguri, Aluabari Road, Kishanganj, Barsoi, Kumedpur, Malda Town, etc. stations.

05958 (New Tinsukia-Chennai Central)

Train No. One-Way Special will depart from New Tinsukia at 06:45 pm on Thursday, December 18, and arrive Chennai Central at 04:30 am on Sunday, December 21.

The train will halt at Dibrugarh, Dhemaji, North Lakhimpur, Haramati, Rangapara North, Rangia Junction, Barpeta Road, New Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar, New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri, Aluabari Road, Kishanganj, Malda Town, Bardhaman, Kharagpur, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Vizianagaram Junction, Vijayawada Junction, Gudur Junction, etc. stations.
