Railways News: Central Railways To Operate Special Trains To Nagpur From Mumbai, Pune | Check Timings, Coaches, Reservation Schedule

Railway News: The Central Railway has announced special trains for passengers looking to travel during the upcoming festive season. The passenger demand usually go up during the festivals of Navratri, Durga Puja, Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath Puja as students, working professionals, and labourers visit their homes to celebrate the festivals with their friends and families.

To accommodate such a large footfall, the railway divisions across India run special trains during this festive season. The Central Railway has also announced several special trains connecting Maharashtra's different cities with Mumbai and Pune to facilitate the passenger rush during the upcoming festivities.

Pune-Nagpur Weekly Special Train

-The Central Railway will operate a weekly special train from Nagpur to Pune every Saturday and from Pune to Nagpur every Sunday.

-01209 Nagpur-Pune Weekly Special Train will depart from Nagpur every Saturday at 7:40 PM and will reach Pune at 11:25 AM the next day. The special train will run from September 27 to November 29 on this route.

-01210 Pune-Nagpur Weekly Special Train will depart from Pune every Sunday at 3:50 PM and reach Nagpur at 6:30 AM next day. The train will run from September 28 to November 30 on the said route.

-Both trains will make 10 services each during their respective time period. The trains will have 6 General Second Class coaches, 4 AC 3-tier coaches, 6 Sleeper and 2 Second Seating coaches.

-The trains will make stoppages at the following stations from both sides:

Uruli

Daund

Ahmednagar

Belapur

Kopargaon

Manmad

Jalgaon

Bhusawal

Malkapur

Shegaon

Akola

Badnera

Dhamangaon

Wardha

Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Nagpur Superfast Special

-This weekly special train will run between Mumbai's LTT and Nagpur.

-02139 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Nagpur Superfast Special will run every Tuesday. It will depart at 12:25 AM from LTT to reach Nagpur at 3:30 PM on same day. The train will run from September 25 to November 27.

-02140 Nagpur-LTT Superfast Special will run every Friday from Nagpur at 1:30 PM and reach 4:10 PM the next day. It will run from September 26 to November 28.

-Each of these trains will make 10 services during its respective time period. The trains will have 5 General Second Class coaches, 3 AC 3-tier coaches, 10 Sleeper and 2 Second Seating coaches.
