A 15-day-old baby was found abandoned in a forest in Rajasthan's Bhilwara district on Tuesday, with its lips sealed shut with glue. When the person who found the baby managed to open its mouth, they discovered a stone inside, police said.

A cattle herder spotted a child in the forest adjacent to the road in front of Sita Kund Temple in Mandalgarh and removed a stone that had allegedly been stuffed in the child’s mouth to prevent him from crying or making noise.
