Rajasthan: Six people were killed in a major road accident on the Jaipur-Agra National Highway (NH-21) in Rajasthan's Dausa district on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, jagran.com reported.
The accident occurred near Kailai village, in the Sikandra police station area of the district. The car suddenly lost control, hit a highway divider, and crossed into the other lane. The car then collided with a trailer.

According to police, all the occupants of the car were residents of Kalakho village and were returning from a wedding. The impact of the car was so severe that four people died on the spot, while two others later succumbed to the injuries.
The deceased have been identified as Lokesh, son of Govardhan Yogi, Dilkhush, son of Banwari Lal Yogi, Manish, son of Harimohan Yogi, Ankit, son of Lalram Bairwa, and Samay Singh, son of Ram Singh Yogi. Four bodies have been sent to Sikandra Hospital, one to Jaipur, and one to Dausa District Hospital.
In another incident on Monday night, an international-level shooter Sambhaji Patil was killed following a horrific crash between his SUV and a truck on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad National Highway near Maharashtra's Palghar.
Sambhaji Patil (27) was travelling in a Fortuner along with a fellow shooter Yash Prashant Chaudhary (22), according to an NDTV report. The duo was going to Gujarat from Pune.
The Toyota Fortuner, which was moving at a high speed reportedly went out of control while attempting to overtake. Chaudhary, who was driving, failed to spot a heavy truck parked on the roadside, hitting its rear. The crash was so severe that the car was completely damaged from the front.
