Rajasthan Weather: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an Orange alert for several districts in Rajasthan as an active Western Disturbance approaches the region, bringing the threat of strong winds, rain, and hailstorms on April 6 and 7.

According to the IMD, a fresh spell of unstable weather is set to impact the state from Monday through Wednesday. By Monday evening, areas across the Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ajmer, and Jaipur divisions, along with the Shekhawati region, are expected to witness gusty winds reaching 40-50 km/h, accompanied by light to moderate rainfall and isolated hailstorm activity.

The weather is likely to intensify on Tuesday, with widespread impact across divisions including Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota, and Udaipur. These regions may experience thunderstorms, stronger winds of 50-60 km/h, moderate to heavy rainfall, and scattered hailstorms. Rainfall between 20 mm and 50 mm is likely, particularly over the Bikaner division and the Shekhawati belt.
