Rajkot Game Zone Fire: A partner at the gaming zone where a fire claimed the lives of 27 people in Gujarat's Rajkot last Saturday has been identified as one of the victims of the deadly blaze, News18 reported on Tuesday. Prakash Hiran, a partner at the ill-fated establishment, has been confirmed dead on the basis of DNA profiling. Authorities are conducting DNA profiling of the mortal remains of the victims as the bodies were charred beyond recognition.
Hiran was reported missing after the incident. As many as four individuals have been arrested in connection with the deadly blaze so far. The victims of the fire included several children as well. On Tuesday, the police informed about the latest arrest in connection with the probe into the incident.

Dhaval Thakkar, the proprietor of Dhaval Corporation, which ran the TRP game zone along with five partners of Raceway Enterprise, is the latest arrest in the case. According to the police, Thakkar, the main accused, was arrested from Abu Road in neighbouring Rajasthan.
Prakash Hiran was one of the six persons named in the FIR registered by the police in the aftermath of the fire. While Thakkar was remanded to 13-day police custody on Tuesday, the three other partners arrested earlier were sent to police custody for 14 days starting Monday.
TRP Game Zone Fire: Gujarat Govt In Action Mode
In the context of the tragedy, the Gujarat government ordered the suspension of seven officials, including two police inspectors and civic staff of Rajkot Municipal Corporation, for dereliction of duty. Following the incident, all the gaming zones in Vadodara were inspected and temporarily shut down.
